"Dear Beatrice, Orin, all the family, Beatrice I was so very glad to get your letter this morning and very glad that Orin was doing as good as he is. Hope he will keep right on gaining and that the rest of the family are all well. We are all about as well here. Hyman went back to work this week after being sick for too months. We have had cool weather here all spring, how about up your way? Beatrice as you can see my letter is not very good do not know if you will make it out or not. Was very glad May was up there. We heard they had moved but we do not know what their address is. We have heard that they moved but do not know more than that. – As I was scribbling at this letter and missed the mailman again so will try to get this finished as it is sure someone will go to town tonight. My pension come today and Dear ones: got your beautiful Mother’s Day gift and thank you very very much. You could not got me anything better. I can see better the large letters. I do read my chapter every day from my (can’t read word here) Text Calendar but the bible you sent is so much larger. So again thank you very very much. I got a real nice letter from Nellie & Henry to this morning and too beautiful cards from Mae & John and one from Tiny, Dick and Jerry. They were all very pretty and so glad to hear from them. Well Beatrice I have been trying for three days getting this letter sent so will finish this up in a hurry. Hope Orin keeps right on getting better and that the rest are all well. Write when you can. Plenty of love to each and all. Mother and family."
